London 2012: Olympic and Paralympic posters unveiled
Twelve Olympic and Paralympic posters which were designed by British artists have been unveiled in London. They will be displayed next year in an exhibition at the Tate Britain.
The posters are very abstract and could be for the Olympics at any time and everywhere because they don't refer to the host city (London) or the host country. If you would just see the poster you wouldn't know where the games are being held.
The artists tried to focus on the values of the Olympics and Paralympics, maybe this is a reason for their abstraction.
